Voters of America, you are being played – BIG TIME.

Voters of America, you are being played – BIG TIME.

I’ll start this off with one word: ELECTORAL COLLEGE.  Ok, that’s two, but you get my point (I hope).  This election for president of the United States of America is already settled.  It has been done and over with since last year and this whole circus we are forced to endure is simply theater to the point of, psy-op (psychological operation). And no.  I’m not being melodramatic.

Most people walking around fail to realize that the primary/caucus system we have going on here has only been around since 1972.  The Constitution of/for the United States of America tells us exactly how the electoral college is the only body that votes for president. (Some of you might appreciate the difference between the word ‘of’ and ‘for’ and I included that for your benefit).

Before 1972, citizens belonged to political parties who would basically act like a sort of mafia (as if that has changed at all) and use a “mixed system” to make backroom deals within their party to figure out who would be representing the party in the presidential election.  That’s when family bloodlines (as if that has changed at all) were important and which church you went to, and ‘do you know the so-and-so family?’ was of critical importance. You belonged to a private club.  It was only with the advent of TV that people finally got a clue when , “Hey! we live in a Democratic Republic! The People should be picking out who is going to run for President of this great land!”

As we all know, that generation was completely optimistic about changing their world for the better.  That’s how we got the sh*t show we have now, namely almost a full year of political coverage where colorful charts and graphs, poll numbers racing up and down, and people being rilled up to the point of hysteria at rallies (or not) are covered obsessively (or not) and projected into the minds of the citizenry. News with computer generated graphics and hosts with expressive facial expressions and body language relate the events to the general population. Some yell at us and some make a joke of it, all in the name of entertainment because that’s what the news technically is – entertainment. That’s why the televised news channels  always win lawsuits and can get away with their dramatic delivery which sometimes contains complete falsehoods. And that’s why the news channels (mostly viewed by the Boomer generation who set up this primary system) have teams fastidiously aligning the news outlet with the demographic profile of their viewers. Basically if you are watching the news on TV you are caught in a feedback loop at this point. But that is a whole different blog post so I’ll move on.

Knowing that TV is the primary means of communicating to their voters, political candidates, especially for an office as high and mighty as President, need to be savvy with the medium.  We all know that Ronald Reagan was a famous Hollywood actor comfortable with the camera. Same with former governor of California, Arnold Schwartzenegger, who also might have run for president had the whole thing with his birth certificate been easy to fix.  Well, this election gave us Donald Trump.  If there was ever anyone who knew how to work the medium of television, it’s him. It is well known that the man has received many more hours of television time and coverage than any of the competition. < Remember that point. What is the US population NOT thinking about with all this coverage of Trump?  And why would that be valuable? and to whom?  hummmmm… >

Like a meth addled hedgehog, Trump also uses new media, especially Twitter, to create ‘share worthy’ content. Everyone knows who Trump is.  He has successfully penetrated his target market which, according to his own political campaign strategists, is a “low propensity voter” who “the elite” consider “stupid”, “racist”, and “bigoted” people.

At this point you may think this is solely a hit piece on Trump.  It’s not.  Read on.

Have you wondered why during this past year of presidential primary coverage in between the antics of Donald Trump we are getting ‘real time’ coverage of people getting shot up in (gay or otherwise) night clubs, or during a peaceful march, or people getting mowed over with trucks in other countries? or shot in Munich at the exact moment DNCLeaks was hitting the scene?  Emotions seem to be flowing non-stop from our screens and it’s literally exhausting.

Keep reading and you’ll see where I’m going with this.

2016 is a year that divide and conquer politics has reached new highs (or lows depending on your vantage point).  “I’ve never seen anything like this!” the American voter has heard exclaimed on the news time and time again.  Well actually you have, Mainstream Media, you just opt not to clue the citizenry in on what you have been participating in. It’s called The Strategy of Tension (Italian: strategiadella tensione).

The Strategy of Tension is an umbrella term used for covert operations by governments aimed at destabilizing or unsettling target populations or states. The main target of a strategy of tension is the public opinion, to manipulate votes, generate the impression of a national threat to legitimate war, to call for a strong leader or tolerate surveillance and denounce peacemakers as ‘unpatriotic’. False flag terrorist attacks are just the tip of the iceberg of possible measures to achieve these goals.

The Strategy of Tension is interesting considering the fact that we all have been exposed to Hillary Clinton’s email problem.  (meanwhile, she has access to the brightest in the business and this guy helps her campaign…)  And as a double whammy the entire Democratic National Committee now has a problem.

Which prompted Donald Trump to publicly call on Russia to pretty-please give us their secret intel for the benefit of the US. This, of course, got everyone busy with meme generation showing that Trump and Putin were “friends” which spun the media into a frenzy about Russia tampering with our elections. The Clinton campaign capitalized on that too.  The media willfully ignoring that the US has messed with elections in other countries many times. That’s sort of what the CIA does.

Anyway, this is all crazy talk.  The US has the worlds largest, most powerful electronic surveillance system ever conceived in the NSA (National Security Agency). Public opinion about the NSA may actually get a positive boost from all this.  But incredibly, no one has thought to ask the NSA what the deal is with Hillary Clinton.  Or maybe they have and that’s why the FBI, while not knowing exactly which agency put forth the order, testified that they could not talk about Hillary Clinton’s emails and why she was given a get out of jail free card on something that most regular people would be incarcerated for.

Now, to add an extra punch of drama to this whole mess of an election we have, hiding out in the shadows, Wikileaks Julian Assange, who was responsible for distributing the hacked DNC leaks.   And the curious, latest two tweets, linked here and pictured below, from famous NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Snowden’s Mysterious 64 character Tweet

Snowden has consistently been trying to warn the US about the incredible and invasive Orwellian ‘Big Brother’ spying that the US government is doing on its own citizenry.  Snowden did this by leaking state secrets and many consider him a traitor- but alas, that is another blog post.

The fact that people are still carrying on about this election is fascinating. What a resilient group of voters we have!  No one seems to be saying, “Hey! The DNC just totally blocked, colluded with the media, and messed up our fair and square election! The results of this election should be null and void!” Meanwhile, Trump has already prepped his voters that the election is rigged.  But no, that’s not going to delay the impending election. The media and more importantly the ever fragile stock market won’t have it.  A Princeton Study has already established that about 20,000 people drive the outcome of our elections and this TED talk explains it.

It comes down to this: People WANT TO BELIEVE their opinions are important. They want to believe that they shape this country.  In many ways they do.  But not during this election for president.  Hillary Clinton has been in this game longer than anyone else running.  She has been relentless in her pursuit of this office.  She has also figured out how the game works, hence the non-profit organizations that she and her husband have set up to move billions of dollars worth of cash and valuable contracts around.  The woman probably should be in jail, if we lived in a just world, and that’s not even considering the latest of many suspicious deaths surrounding this candidate and her husband.

Americans have been forced into voting for the lesser of two evils.  Meanwhile, it looks like lots of republicans are not happy with the fact that a candidate like Donald Trump could steam roll their private party (which happened when they unknowingly cheered on the sneaky rules change perpetrated by TeamRomney in 2012).

“But wait! What about a third party!  What if I vote for Gary Johnson?! or Jill Sanders?” a demoralized voter might ask.  Forget it.  That’s already part of the plan.  They are changing the ‘rules’ the dems and repubs jointly made about nationally televised presidential debates just for this purpose.

Get yourself right in the head about this whole thing.  Start thinking about how Americans can support themselves and each other when the financial situation that this election has been masking is finally laid bare.
